Vanessa prides herself on her caring attitude towards her patients. She goes the ‘extra mile’ to ensure her patients receive the very best care. She qualified as a nurse in 1986 in Derby and gained excellent experience working at the Birmingham Skin Hospital, St Thomas’ Hospital London, Heidelberg University Hospital in Germany. Before starting working with me in 2011, Vanessa was working as the Dermatology Nurse Specialist in Worcestershire and Skin Cancer Nurse Specialist in Hereford.

 

Vanessa keeps up to date with the latest developments and has undertaken many courses including the Nurse Prescribing qualification and Holistic Health Assessment course and together with studying for 3 years at the University of Birmingham for a Counselling Diploma. She makes good use of these qualifications when seeing patients for non-surgical treatments and offers free consultations for those patients who wish to see a nurse and get a feel for the hospital prior to choosing their surgeon.
